Dental Inlays & Onlays

Dental inlays and onlays are used to repair posterior teeth that have suffered mild to moderate decay, cracks or fractures which are not severe enough to warrant the need of crowns, and not mild enough to be fixed using regular fillings

At Quince Orchard Dental Care, our General Dentistry practice offers a wide range of services. We provide all of the services you come to expect from a great dentist including thorough exams, excellent clinical skills (fillings, crowns and dentures) and an approach focused on prevention and education. Our practice is a complete health practice, which means that while our specialty is oral health, we consider your overall health in everything we do. The mouth is the gateway to the body, and oral health problems are usually indicators that your overall health may be in jeopardy.

Our dentists have a wealth of experience when it comes to dental inlays and onlays. Dental inlays and onlays are used to repair posterior teeth that have suffered mild to moderate decay, cracks or fractures which are not severe enough to warrant the need of crowns, and not mild enough to be fixed using regular fillings. While dental inlays and onlays are a bit more costly and complex than simple dental restorations, they are more durable, and if properly cared for, can last 10 years or more. The inlay & onlay process could require multiple visits since we have to create impression molds, have them made at a quality dental laboratory, etc. That said, they are a long lasting, excellent functionally and aesthetically pleasing option that are usually well worth the time and effort.

At Quince Orchard Dental Care, we strive to ensure that your overall health and oral health are in sync. We provide attentive consultations that allow for us to delve a little deeper and provide education about proper dental care as well as your overall health. We try to keep your wait for your appointment to a minimum, while ensuring that we don’t rush you or persons who were ahead of you. Timeliness and attentiveness are cornerstones in how we do what we do. We invite you to come in and maybe for the first time...start enjoying visits with your dentist.
