Let Us Face The Dawn Of A New Year With Smiles, Hope & Courage.
“Persistence and resilience only come from having been given the chance to work through difficult problems.”- Gever Tulley.
It is safe to conclude that 2020 was the most challenging year we ever faced as a practice. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, just like the rest of the world, Quince Orchard Dental Care was also affected. For everyone’s safety, we were closed for 10 weeks, which was something we had never anticipated having to do.
As much as it broke our hearts to have to close our doors (for good reason), it gave us an opportunity to really delve into our policies and practices and to make improvements for the betterment of the practice. Through it all we still managed to expand our team! We welcomed pediatric dentist Dr. Sheyda Maghsoudi, so we now have pediatric dental appointment availability on Mondays. Dr. Lee also extended his general dental appointment availability by adding more days.
Our biggest lesson came after reopening. As a team, we had to relearn a whole new system of treating patients. It was important to have the health of our team members as top priority in order to be able to safely service our patients. We would like to thank the outstanding team at PPE Wholesalers for providing us with authentic and high quality PPE products that helped to ensure our safety and the safety of our patients.
On a lighter note, we would like to reflect on moments of peace, joy and smiles in this unprecedented year. Two of our hygienists, Nasim and Jessie, welcomed a baby boy and a baby girl respectively.
As we look forward to 2021, it is the wish of Quince Orchard Dental Care to continue to keep our doctors, team members and patients safe and healthy when in practice. In doing so, we will be able to serve all of our patients who have missed their appointments or delayed care due to Covid-19 and to encourage our complete health model and emphasize the importance of maintaining optimal oral health for better overall health.
Not to be remiss, we hope that among your new year resolutions, you would include improving and maintaining your healthy dental habits. For as you know, as a community, we are more focused now more than ever on our health. The QODC team has seen more stress related dental emergencies - fractured teeth, TMJ disorders, etc - than ever before. We want to encourage our patients to take care of their dental needs - discuss with your dentist the effects of stress on the mouth and what options there are to prevent the consequences of that stress and kindly encourage your loved ones to do the same.
The team at Quince Orchard Dental Care have and will always go above and beyond to make your experiences with us convenient, enjoyable and safe. We take pride in our level of customer service and we will always work to meet and to exceed your expectations.
From us to our patients, friends, families and colleagues, we wish you all a happy, healthy new year full of smiles, love, hope, and courage. Happy 2021!
